Our Purpose
To expand the kingdom by reproducing and multiplying expressions of the gospel across New England.
Our Method
Explore — Engage with us to determine where God might be intersecting our paths to multiply the Gospel for His kingdom.
Pathway
Contact the ANE District Superintendent, Gary Smith to schedule a meeting and discuss your interest and your next steps.
Evaluate — After exploration, will we use a variety assessment tools to help determine fit and readiness for church planting.
Pathway
Following the Exploration Phase, and with the approval of the District Superintendent, individuals will be invited into an assessment process. A full evaluation of the leader’s character, competencies, and qualifications for being a church planter will be done to determine next steps.
Equip — We will equip and train planters to best utilize the resources we have been given.
Pathway
Following the Evaluation Phase, leaders who have been affirmed by the Church Planting Team and by the assessment will be placed in a planning and coaching process for church planting.
Expand — We will equip and train planters to best utilize the resources we have been given.
Pathway
Following the Equipping Phase, church planters are sent out to begin a new gospel expression. The District Superintendent and the entire ANE Staff will provide assistance with networking, stewardship, legal and logistical concerns, coaching and resourcing.
Gary Smith, Church Planting Director
Gary Smith has been serving as the Church Planting Director with Alliance New England since August of 2023. Gary has served in various roles in church planting since 1998. His main focus is investing in our churches to help them to multiply, to lead and develop ANE’s Planter Pathway, and to assist Alliance New England in reaching its goal of 100 churches by 2033.
