John Stumbo, president of the C&MA, is hosting 60 virtual events across the country to engage the Alliance family in conversation regarding the C&MA’s Statement of Faith, Alliance Polity and other topics. During these meetings, you can expect President Stumbo to give an organized presentation that will include opportunity for feedback. Part of that feedback will come in the form of live polls so it is recommended that each participant use a smartphone or laptop with a strong internet connection.
The New England district is hosting 2 of these online gatherings for our member churches, leaders and congregants to listen and participate. The dates and times are:
- Wednesday, September 30th, 5:30-8:30 PM (ET)
- Thursday, October 1st, 9:30 AM-12:30 PM (ET)
These conversations are open to all licensed workers & spouses, church staff, elders and lay leaders, and also to anyone who is part of your congregation that may be interested. An evening session was scheduled with this in mind and to enable greater participation. Both of these sessions will have the same content, so you do not need to register for both.
Registration is now open for the ANE-hosted virtual meetings. There is NO COST to register, however, we do need participants to register in advance so materials and links can be provided.
Registration closes on September 18.
Question about the conversations, or registration, can be directed to the district office.
