Alliance Council 2019
It’s that time. Time to start planning to join together as an Alliance family for Council 2019. This bi-annual event is scheduled for May 28-June 2 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, right next to Downtown Disney. This is the perfect location to bring families and children to participate in this year’s event.
For those that have never attended Council, this is a week of worship, prayer, amazing speakers, engaging seminars, and plenty of fellowship – much of which can happen around the pool at the Marriott resort!

The 2019 Council theme is “Beyond.” I sense the Spirit’s prompting to challenge us to move beyond our current limitations and, more importantly, beyond whatever may be holding us back in our relationship with Jesus. I’m eager to explore together where God is taking us next. Who Can Attend
Simply put – everyone! If you are a part of our Alliance church family, you are welcome at Council. However, there are two categories for attendees: Accredited and Corresponding. Accredited delegates have voting privileges during the business portion of the meetings. They are the licensed workers within the C&MA or specifically designated by their church as their voting delegate. (Look for an email with the forms and details on how to designate the voting representative from your church.) Corresponding delegates are simply non-voting. The registration fee is the same.
New England Specific Details
On Thursday night, May 30 at 9:00 pm, after the evening service, our district will host an ice cream social. When registering for Council, be sure and select the option to participate in this event. There is an additional $15 fee.
Dates: Tuesday, May 28 – Sunday, June 2, 2019
Registration Fee: $189 (online), $219 (onsite)
Children under 21 may register at no cost if one or both parents are registered delegates.
Hotel Costs: Single – $135/night, Double – $145/night
Once registered, a confirmation email will provide details to reserve rooms at this discounted rates.
The last council was held in 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. 63 people from New England attended that event. If you are considering making the trip to Council 2019, find one of these people and ask about their experience. They will all tell you the worth and value.
