Alliance General Council 2019 starts next week. The bi-annual event is scheduled for May 28-June 2 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, right next to Downtown Disney and many participants are bringing their families and children to this year’s gathering.

For those attending from the New England district, and those that cannot attend in person but still want to be a part of the activities, here are a few key links and reminders.

New Council 2019 Song

We will be introducing a new song at #AllianceCouncil2019! The song “Regions Beyond” will be available as a resource to the Alliance family. You will be able to download the chord charts (in a week or so) or just listen to the song on iTunes or Spotify! To listen to it now, visit this link:

Check out what Tim Meier has to say about it:
“So stoked to share this!! On Sunday morning at Council, during my message, I will reference the 2 year story arc we’re moving into for Missions Emphasis in churches. It’s called: Regions Beyond. Our founder, AB Simpson wrote a hymn with the same name but I believe we need some fresh, singable Alliance music to sing next week in Florida and in our churches coming directly from our Alliance movement. What was once a hallmark of our family hasn’t been as explored in recent days collectively as much as it could be.

Several months ago I approached my friend and worship leader at our C&MA church Lex City Josh Sadlon to write a new song called “Regions Beyond: Freedom.” Drawing from his experience visiting multiple international workers with the Alliance and a passion for the Spirit, he has written, with his team, a fantastic, singable song for our Alliance family that we will debut at Council next week and hope to have many churches singing over the next year or two. Acoustic and live versions will be available online. This link points to the Studio version. Downloadable chord charts will be included in all Missions Emphasis packets to churches or upon request to our office. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Excited for us to sing this next week. Get a head start and download on your music platform of choice today! And, thanks, Josh. You rock!
