Church of Emmanuel, located south of Boston in Foxboro, Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Pastor who can shepherd the spiritual health of the congregation while leading toward greater effectiveness in reaching and serving Foxboro and the greater Boston to Providence corridor with the love of Jesus. We are seeking a dynamic, engaging preacher and teacher who is able to communicate spiritual truths with ease to both the unchurched and committed Christians; a visionary and strategic leader who can develop and empower leaders; one who is committed to multiplication; and can provide spiritual leadership and care for the congregation.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Bible, Theology, Pastoral Ministry or other ministry-related field. An MDiv is strongly preferred; an advanced degree in a ministry discipline is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior or Teaching Pastor, or equivalent leadership or teaching experience in a growing church. Candidates already licensed with the C&MA are preferred; but all candidates must be willing and able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.

Church of Emmanuel is a multi-staff church with a regional draw of about 500, located in Foxboro, MA. A suburban community of about 20,000, Foxboro is located just 20 miles south of Boston. Its proximity to major highways and commuter rail service, along with its strong school system makes it a popular choice for commuting families. You may also recognize Foxboro as the home to Gillette Stadium and the New England Patriots.

Christ Community Alliance Church in Orange, VT is seeking a pastoral resident. This residency provides the opportunity to cultivate the art of pastoral ministry, gain practical experience and develop key skills while serving a healthy congregation. Through the approximately two-year experience, the resident is immersed in the life and leadership of the church, with the opportunity to lead and develop ministries and serve alongside the senior pastor and lay leaders, all while building their foundation for service to the Church. This is all conducted with great intentionality, but also in a spirit of providing time and opportunity for observation, experiences, mentorship, and candid feedback. Ministry at Christ Community could involve working with young families, youth, college & career and worship ministries. If you are gifted or experienced in these areas, you are especially encouraged to apply.

The residency is a full-time compensated position. Candidates should have a strong calling for pastoral leadership, a passion for helping churches in New England reach the unchurched, and a deep desire for mentored development.  A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Bible, Pastoral Ministry or other ministry-related field is required.  All candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA. At the completion of the residency, the intention is that the resident would seek and find placement in Alliance New England for further ministry.

New River Church in Manchester, CT, is a Christ-centered, discipleship-focused community and an accredited church with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Our vision is to overflow with the life of Jesus, transforming our communities with His love. The four pillars of our mission are to enjoy Jesus, encourage people, equip disciple-makers, and engage culture. We seek to empower small groups to impact their local community through discipling relationships and meeting needs.  In addition to Sunday mornings, ministry takes place in living rooms, coffee shops and around the kitchen table. We desire to launch multi-purpose sites that will engage with the community all week long and be places to foster community, growth and healing.

We are seeking a Pastor of Discipleship & Counseling tol lead our Life Group ministry, which drives New River’s deep discipleship and community engagement. This includes developing a support model for sustainable growth of groups and ministry teams; identifying gifts and talents within the body; enlisting and equipping leaders; providing pastoral counseling and access to resources for leaders; investing in emerging leaders; and launching new life groups and ministry teams.  This role will also provide preaching at the direction of the Senior Pastor, oversee the process of welcoming guests and help them connect with New River.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Pastoral Counseling or Biblical Studies. Candidates already licensed or ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) are preferred; but all candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA. We are seeking someone who has a demonstrated ability to make disciples, develop teams and create plans of action. Skills in counseling and accessing counseling resources are preferred, as are cultural competencies to connect with diverse communities.

Manchester, CT is a suburban community of about 60, 000 located just north east of Hartford, CT.  The town has a diverse population with many options for recreation, dining, arts and culture drawing younger professionals. The town is home to Connecticut’s largest community college and is within 15 minutes from the University of Connecticut.

Bethel Alliance Church, in Bethel Maine, is seeking a Youth Pastor who wants to know our youth as people – spiritually, emotionally & socially. They should have a hunger for their salvation, their growth as Christ’s disciples and a desire to help them become disciple makers and active participants in the church body. Ideally, the candidate will also have worship experience and would be able to lead a Sunday worship team blending traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.

Responsibilities include planning and leading weekly youth group meetings; creating opportunities for youth discipleship in order to move attendees along the path to salvation and then to deepen their relationship with Christ; planning special youth group activities; and coordinating, training and regularly meeting with youth group volunteers.

  • Must be in doctrinal agreement with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Statement of Faith and Bylaws.

Priority consideration will be given to applicants who also meet the following worship qualifications:

  • Experience leading worship in a church setting
  • Willingness to lead and develop a Worship Team
  • Demonstrated musical ability and knowledge

Bethel Alliance Church is located in Bethel, Maine, on the edge of the beautiful White Mountain National Forest. The area abounds in outdoor recreational activities and also caters to those interested in the arts.

Calvary Church of the C&MA, located in coastal Milford, Connecticut, is seeking a Senior Pastor to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to the congregation. Our mission is to obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission – to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We desire a collaborative leader gifted as shepherd and teacher, who leads in ministry and also develops, equips and coaches the people of the church for ministry. The Senior Pastor will provide Biblically-grounded preaching and teaching; lead the church in prayer; disciple and develop ministry leaders; keep a focus on C&MA global missions and local outreach; and provide spiritual counsel and care for those in the congregation.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree with training in Bible & Theology. Five years’ experience in pastoral ministry is preferred. Greenfield Alliance Church is a growing, vibrant church in western Massachusetts with a weekly attendance of about 175.  We are currently seeking a Worship & Youth Pastor to join our staff, someone who can lead and develop our worship team and our ministry to youth in grades 7-12.

Reporting to the Sr. Pastor, this role will plan and lead worship in all of our services, including handling team scheduling, rehearsals, song selection and arrangements, audio/visual needs, and recruiting and auditioning additional musicians, vocalists or A/V volunteers as needed.  Our youth ministry meets weekly and this position will plan and lead the weekly gatherings and other special functions or trips throughout the year. This will require connecting relationally with the youth to establish discipling relationships, leading our youth ministry volunteers, and maintaining regular communication with parents.  Lastly, this role will assist the Sr. Pastor in other areas including preaching 3+ times per year.

A Bachelor’s degree in Bible, ministry or worship is required, and experience leading worship teams in a corporate setting is highly desired. Must work well in a team environment, be able to lead and develop others with wisdom and grace, and have a desire to disciple teens. Experience with audio/visual equipment is preferred.  Greenfield Alliance Church is a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, as such, all candidates must be eligible for licensure with the C&MA.
