Madison, CT

SENIOR PASTOR

Christ Chapel, in Madison, CT is seeking a Senior Pastor who can lead this body in envisioning its next season of ministry and growth. We believe this will require strong Biblical teaching, discipleship and missional outreach, all supported by a culture of prayer. The Senior Pastor’s primary roles will be teaching the Bible with passion, conviction and contagious enthusiasm; leading and developing staff and ministry leaders; working with leaders to set vision and develop strategy for the church body; and working toward church growth through evangelism and discipleship.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Bible, Pastoral Ministry or other ministry-related field; an advanced degree in Biblical studies is preferred. Five years’ experience in regular pulpit preaching strongly preferred.  Candidates already licensed with the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) are preferred; but all candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.

Christ Chapel is a multi-staff church with a regional draw of about 250, located in Madison, CT.  Madison is located on the Connecticut shoreline of Long Island Sound, halfway between Boston and New York City.  Although known most for its beautiful beaches and quaint, quintessential New England town center, it is truly a year-round community with much to offer families throughout the year, including a highly rated public school system.

Milford, CT

SENIOR PASTOR

Calvary Church of the C&MA, located in coastal Milford, Connecticut, is seeking a Senior Pastor to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to the congregation. Our mission is to obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission – to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We desire a collaborative leader gifted as shepherd and teacher, who leads in ministry and also develops, equips and coaches the people of the church for ministry. The Senior Pastor will provide Biblically-grounded preaching and teaching; lead the church in prayer; disciple and develop ministry leaders; keep a focus on C&MA global missions and local outreach; and provide spiritual counsel and care for those in the congregation.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree with training in Bible & Theology. Five years’ experience in pastoral ministry is preferred. Candidates already licensed or ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) are preferred; but all candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.

Greenfield, MA

WORSHIP & YOUTH PASTOR

Greenfield Alliance Church is a growing, vibrant church in western Massachusetts with a weekly attendance of about 175.  We are currently seeking a Worship & Youth Pastor to join our staff, someone who can lead and develop our worship team and our ministry to youth in grades 7-12.

Reporting to the Sr. Pastor, this role will plan and lead worship in all of our services, including handling team scheduling, rehearsals, song selection and arrangements, audio/visual needs, and recruiting and auditioning additional musicians, vocalists or A/V volunteers as needed.  Our youth ministry meets weekly and this position will plan and lead the weekly gatherings and other special functions or trips throughout the year. This will require connecting relationally with the youth to establish discipling relationships, leading our youth ministry volunteers, and maintaining regular communication with parents.  Lastly, this role will assist the Sr. Pastor in other areas including preaching 3+ times per year.

A Bachelor’s degree in Bible, ministry or worship is required, and experience leading worship teams in a corporate setting is highly desired. Must work well in a team environment, be able to lead and develop others with wisdom and grace, and have a desire to disciple teens. Experience with audio/visual equipment is preferred.  Greenfield Alliance Church is a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, as such, all candidates must be eligible for licensure with the C&MA.

Vermont & New Hampshire

CHURCH PLANTING PASTORS

Alliance New England, part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, is seeking church planters for new churches to be started throughout New England. These new churches will be launched out of groups of existing churches in the region, who are combining their efforts to train and mentor planters and leaders and to provide ongoing spiritual, financial and people support for the new plant. Prior to launch, the planter will serve on the ministry staff of an established church (a “Greenhouse” church) for up to 24 months of preparation and training, being immersed in the life and leadership of the local church, and being given opportunity to lead ministries and prepare a core group for the launch of the church plant.

The Greenhouse church will provide housing, health insurance and a part-time salary; other part-time employment outside of the church is purposely required.

Candidates should have a strong calling for church planting, a passion for reaching the unchurched, and a deep desire to be part of a multiplying church planting movement. Current opportunities are with a churches in Vermont and southern New Hampshire.  A bachelor’s degree in Bible, Pastoral Ministry or other ministry-related field is required.  Previous vocational experience as a pastor is preferred. All candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.
